How does a whole-body MRI work?
A whole-body MRI is a gentle, radiation-free imaging method. Instead of X-rays, it uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of your entire body - all in a single session.
At Aeon, the scan takes about 50 minutes. You lie comfortably in the scanner while it captures high-resolution images with up to 13 different tissue contrasts, and without any contrast agent. Our medical team stays in contact with you throughout, so you are never alone.
Afterwards, Swiss radiologists review the images and your results appear in the Aeon Portal within 5 working days.
