What does the blood analysis measure?

Alongside your MRI, Aeon analyses your blood across a broad panel of up to 88+ biomarkers, grouped into areas such as:

• Blood lipids & inflammation — e.g. HDL and LDL cholesterol, hs-CRP
• Advanced cardiovascular markers — e.g. ApoB, Lipoprotein(a)
• Liver function — e.g. ALT, AST, GGT
• Thyroid function — e.g. TSH, Free T3, Anti-TPO
• Diabetes — e.g. HbA1c, fasting glucose, HOMA-IR
• Kidney function — e.g. eGFR, creatinine, potassium
• Iron metabolism — e.g. ferritin, iron, transferrin saturation
• Additional markers — e.g. blood group, haemoglobin, ApoE and MTHFR genotyping

Together with your scan, these give a rounded view of your health, and are explained in your report in plain language.
